Instant prices are approximate — do not treat them as final.
Every price shown by QuoteThePart (on screen, in e-mails, in downloads or in the app) is an automated estimate calculated from the files and options you provide and from indicative market rates. It is for budgeting and comparison only. It is not a binding offer, invoice or contract. The final price, lead time and manufacturability are confirmed in writing by our team after reviewing your drawings and requirements, and may be higher or lower than the instant estimate.

1. About the service

QuoteThePart ("we", "us") provides an online tool that estimates the cost of manufacturing custom parts from CAD files and drawings, and a portal to request, review and order parts. By creating an account or using the website you agree to these terms.

2. Instant quotes and estimates

Instant quotes are produced automatically from geometry measured in your files, information read from drawings (including with the help of AI), the options you choose and our current material, process and machine-hour rates.
Estimates depend on the accuracy of your files. Missing dimensions, unreadable formats, tolerances, threads, surface finishes, inspection or packaging requirements that are not captured can change the price.
Raw-material prices, exchange rates (INR/USD), taxes and supplier rates change frequently. Estimates are valid only for the period shown on the quote and only as estimates.
An estimate becomes an order only after we confirm the final price in writing and you accept it. We may decline any order.
Lead times are indicative and start after order confirmation, payment (where applicable) and approval of drawings.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, verify your e-mail address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

4. Wallet, quote fees and payments

When paid quoting is enabled, a per-quote fee shown before submission is deducted from your prepaid wallet. Fees are for the estimating service and are not a deposit against the part price unless we say so in writing.
Wallet credit is non-transferable and has no cash value except as required by law. Refunds of unused credit are handled on request at our discretion.
If an instant quote fails for a technical reason on our side, the fee is refunded to your wallet.
Payments are processed by third-party gateways; we do not store card details.

5. Your designs and intellectual property

You keep all rights in the files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and view them solely to prepare estimates, manufacture your parts and support you. We do not share your files publicly. You confirm that you have the right to upload them and that the parts do not infringe anyone's rights or break any law (including export-control rules).

6. Acceptable use

Do not upload malicious files, attempt to access other users' data, scrape the service, or use it to manufacture weapons or items that are illegal in your jurisdiction.

7. Limitation of liability

The website and estimates are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on an instant estimate, including budgeting or purchasing decisions made before a final written quotation. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

8. Changes

We may update these terms and our pricing rules. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at our registered office location have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
